So good

I bought this app for my son a few months ago because he loves figuring out how things work and, being a 3 1/2 year old boy, wanted to know more about poop. Wed explore with it together, hed play with it by himself, we talked about our bodies in other contexts, but it was all very casual and pedestrian.

Tonight, as he went for a walk with his aunt, a nurse practitioner, they were talking and Isaac mentioned how he loved his body and they were talking about it and she was able to ascertain that he knew where many of his organs were located in his body (heart, lungs, stomach, intestines, kidneys, bladder, etc.) and what their general functions were (help him breathe, filter bad stuff, food digestion, etc.). I had NO IDEA he was retaining the information at this level. Im stunned.
